on my holyday some years ago, Ann and Arthur.

They live on top of the world in Cinderford

Cinderford, here we come!

The journey starts on June 15 leaving our apartment in Bollnäs for a 300 km drive to Stockholm and my brother Bengt.

The night in Stockholm is just going to be a "stay over night and sleep" awaiting the rest of the drive to "Skavsta" airport where the flight part of our journey starts, destination Birmingham, Wales.

From Birmingham in a hired car our last part of the journey to Cinderford starts.
It’s a long time since I drove a car on the wrong side of the road, with the steering wheel on the wrong side, that’s a combination I haven’t tried before.

It’s going to be an exiting ride trying to get around the roundabouts in the wrong direction in a car with the steering wheel in wrong side of the car and with an anxious girlfriend on the wrong side of me trying to follow the description from the GPS navigator to a place I never been to.

If you are a fan of line dance and Steven J Towers then you have to visit Cinderford and Miners Hall.



Thanks to a bomb attack in Charm El Sheik 2005 and change of plans for our holidays, we meet them for the first time, Arthur and Ann, in Tenerife!

The place was Hyde Park Corner, Playa De Las Americas, Tenerife; there he was, Steven J Towers, playing the guitar and singing, at first we ware not so impressed, but later evenings he grow in our appreciativeness.

Year after year in November we have listened to Steven in Tenerife.
Arthur and Anne have been there some of the years as well and we have become really god friends both on the dance floor and in the bar.

Now is time to meet them in Cinderford!
